Color ballpoint sketch in progress over the pencil rough.
Completed color underdrawing.
Initial wash with burnt sienna, lifting out highlights with a damp clean brush.
Additional layers of burnt sienna.
Beginning to add color highlights and differentiating temperatures.
Coming in over the burnt sienna with prussian blue to create darkest darks.
The full palette (Zorn modified with cadmium yellow medium and prussian blue), brushes, and the carpenter’s pencil and multipen used for the underdrawing.
